my first memory: i am 1 1/2 yrs old. everything is dark and foggy, except the bright mustard yellow, lime green and mulberry flower print of my little ruffly bikini, that i am busy inspecting as i hear my mother and aunt talking about how cute i am. (My mother couldn't believe i remembered this when i told her 2 weeks ago.) i remember always having a fascination for color, beautiful faces-the eyes, especially- and beautiful clothes. i think that is very apparent in my art. I am in love with historical fashion and romantic/fairy tale themes. I love nature and I completely believe God is the Master Artist, as nothing we can create in our "advanced" age could ever compare with the exquisite, deceptively simple genius of nature. You can agree with me or not, but we can all agree nature is always inspiring and breath-taking. I hope to continue improving my painting and also that my art will make the viewer feel positive about the beauty all around us, as well as in the human imagination/mind.
